Cultivating Peace and Nonviolence at Home and in the World : une retraite de pleine conscience dirigée par Chan Huy à l'Ashram Barsana Dham, Austin, Texas, USA.
“…The year 2000 must be a new beginning, an opportunity to transform – all together – the culture of war and violence into a culture of peace and nonviolence.” These words are from the United Nations Manifesto 2000 for a Culture of Peace and Nonviolence. Zen master and peace activist Thich Nhat Hanh helped draft the manifesto. He urges us to find concrete ways to bring peace and nonviolence into our individual lives and then into the world. Chan Huy, a Dharma Teacher ordained by Thich Nhat Hanh, will help us explore ways to transform our lives. This 2 day mindfulness retreat will be conducted in the tranquil setting of the Barsana Dham ashram a short drive southwest of Austin, TX.
